MICRONJET™ 30 Needles
Medica Depot carries MICRONJET™ 30 needles, an intradermal delivery device by NanoPass Technologies (Israel). The 30-pack supplies single-use microneedle units, each with three 0.6 mm pyramid-shaped needles made of pure silicon crystal using MEMS technology. The device fits a standard syringe, holds penetration depth constant, and shows less injection pain than conventional needles in clinical studies. Practitioners looking to buy MICRONJET™ 30 needles for skin booster and aesthetic work can order through Medica Depot’s catalog.

How MICRONJET™ 600 Delivers Intradermally
The MICRONJET™ needle is a microneedle device that fits on a syringe the way a conventional needle does. It is not a roller, stamp, or patch. The practitioner loads the product into a syringe, attaches the device, and injects into the dermis. The device itself is a small plastic luer adapter fitted with a chip of three microneedles, and it is sterile and single-use [1].
In the United States, the FDA cleared the MICRONJET™ 600 through the 510(k) pathway in 2010 (K092746). It is indicated for intradermal injection of any substance or drug approved for that route, and the FDA found it substantially equivalent to predicate hypodermic devices from Terumo and BD [1]. That clearance covers the device. The injectable still has to be labeled for intradermal use.
NanoPass offers multiple needle heights. The 0.6 mm version is intended for shallow areas. A 0.8 mm version was added in early 2026 for thicker skin, hair restoration, and more viscous substances [2].
MEMS Silicon Design and Fixed Depth
MICRONJET™ 600 uses a MEMS-fabricated silicon chip carrying three hollow micro-pyramids [3]. Semiconductor manufacturing defines the geometry of the pyramids rather than forming them from conventional stainless steel, supporting repeatable needle height and structural precision [2][3]. The 0.6 mm device also has a flow rate comparable to a 30-gauge needle [2].
Etching the geometry into silicon, rather than grinding or drawing metal, gives the device its structural precision and repeatable needle height from unit to unit. The 0.6 mm version has a flow rate comparable to a 30-gauge needle [2]. The device is compatible with standard syringes, allowing it to fit into familiar injection workflows.
NanoPass reports more than 70 clinical studies across vaccines, therapeutics such as allergy testing and immunotherapy, and aesthetics [2]. A published review also summarizes seven years of clinical experience with the 0.6 mm device, including influenza vaccine trials with dose-sparing results [3].
MICRONJET™ Treatment in Aesthetic and Dermatological Practice
Skin Boosters and Biorevitalization
The MICRONJET™ microneedle suits multi-point intradermal protocols, where many small injections are placed in the superficial dermis.
Clinical evidence for aesthetic use includes a randomized split-face/neck biorevitalization study using NanoSoft, a NanoPass 0.6 mm three-silicon-microneedle device [4]. Both sides received the same hyaluronic acid-based solution, allowing the study to compare the two delivery methods within the same participant. Selected measures of wrinkles, elasticity, and hydration favored the microneedle-treated side [4]. Both techniques improved skin quality, but the microneedle side did better on wrinkle reduction, elasticity, and hydration [4].
MICRONJET™ Under-Eye Use
The periorbital area is thin and sensitive, so injection precision matters. Periorbital outcomes in the same study also favored the microneedle-treated side at day 49 [4]. However, the trial evaluated one biorevitalizing product using a NanoSoft device, so the findings should not be generalized to every MICRONJET™ under-eye protocol. Treatment area, injectable selection, and technique remain clinical decisions. Choice of area, product, and technique remains a clinical decision.
Other Intradermal Uses
Intradermal delivery also underpins tuberculin skin testing and vaccination, where depth consistency matters. These are the settings where the 0.6 mm device was originally developed and studied [3].
Clinical Evidence and Performance
MICRONJET™ Before-and-After Results
Individual photographs vary by injectable, skin, and practitioner. Controlled data is a better guide. In the study above, outcomes were tracked from baseline to day 120, 75 days after the third and final session. The microneedle side outperformed the classic needle on several measures, with elasticity and hydration gains sustained to the final timepoint [4].
Comfort Compared with Conventional Needles
In the tuberculin study, MICRONJET™ 600 produced significantly lower visual-analogue pain scores than conventional injection [5]. Because this was a diagnostic-use study rather than an aesthetic trial, it supports a lower-pain profile but should not be treated as a guarantee of virtually painless delivery for every product or procedure.
Reliability and Evidence Limits
The microneedle outperformed a regular needle on selected skin outcomes, depending on the zone and skin thickness. The authors also described it as a faster and more efficient option for biorevitalization [4].
Published data do not state a single universal success rate for the device. The studies show effective intradermal delivery across vaccine, diagnostic, and aesthetic settings [3][5]. For clinical practice, the more directly supported advantages are consistent geometry and compatibility with familiar syringe-based administration.
Safe Handling and Single-Use Administration
MICRONJET™ 30 needles are for licensed practitioners in regulated settings. Each device is sterile and single-use [1]. Dispose of it in a sharps container after one patient.
Because the needle height is fixed at 0.6 mm, the device limits how deep the tips can reach. Technique still matters. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use on insertion angle and skin pressure, and always follow the labeling of the product you are injecting.
Safety data are encouraging. In a tuberculin skin test study of healthy adults, no adverse effects were attributed to the microneedle device [5]. In the biorevitalization trial, adverse events were milder on the microneedle side, and no serious adverse events occurred [4].
